Arize AI

Arize AI was founded in 2020 by Jason Lopatecki and Aparna Dhinakaran to build observability infrastructure for production machine learning systems. The commercial Arize platform monitors model performance, data drift, and prediction quality across the ML lifecycle, with support for tabular, computer vision, and large language model deployments.

In 2023 the company released Phoenix, an open-source library for LLM application tracing, evaluation, and prompt experimentation, distributed under the Elastic License 2.0. Phoenix integrates with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenInference, and other frameworks.

Arize raised a $38M Series B in 2022 led by TCV and Battery Ventures, after prior rounds from Foundation Capital. The company is headquartered in Berkeley, California.
