Bluedot

Bluedot develops an artificial-intelligence meeting assistant that records, transcribes and summarizes online and in-person conversations without sending a bot to join the call. The company was founded in 2022 by Ruslan Khalilov and Dima Eremin, two Ukraine-born engineers on their second venture together, and is headquartered in London, with operations split between the United Kingdom and Dusseldorf, Germany.

The product runs as a Chrome extension alongside desktop and mobile applications, capturing meetings across Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams as well as in-person sessions, then generating structured summaries for uses such as sales calls, customer check-ins and Q&A. Its bot-free capture approach, which records locally rather than admitting a visible participant to the call, positions it against note-takers such as Otter.ai, Fireflies and Fathom. Bluedot cites users including Salesforce, Netflix and Dept Agency.

Bluedot raised roughly 560,000 euros (about $600,000) in a 2024 angel round backed by Google for Startups and the On Deck Fellowship, and remains privately held. The company runs with a small team of fewer than two dozen employees and reports SOC 2 certification and GDPR compliance for its handling of meeting data.
