Humanloop

Humanloop was an LLM evaluation and prompt management platform founded in 2020 in London as a University College London spinout, co-founded by Raza Habib, Peter Hayes, and Jordan Burgess. The platform helped enterprises develop, evaluate, and fine-tune LLM applications.

Customers included Duolingo, Gusto, and Vanta. Humanloop was a Y Combinator alumnus and participant in the UCL Fuse Incubator.

In August 2025 Anthropic acqui-hired the Humanloop team, with co-founders and most engineers joining Anthropic to work on enterprise AI tooling. Humanloop had raised approximately $7.9 million in seed funding prior.
