Okta

Okta is an identity and access management company founded in 2009 in San Francisco by Todd McKinnon and Frederic Kerrest, both former Salesforce executives. The platform provides workforce and customer identity including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and identity governance.

Okta serves more than 18,000 customers including JetBlue, T-Mobile, and Zoom. It acquired Auth0 in 2021 to extend into customer identity (CIAM).

Okta went public on NASDAQ in April 2017 (OKTA). Todd McKinnon serves as CEO. The company reports over $2.6 billion in annual revenue.
