Rytr

Rytr is an AI-powered writing assistant founded in April 2021 and headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware. The platform was built to help freelancers, marketers, and small teams generate written content across more than 40 use cases, including blog posts, emails, social media captions, and marketing copy.

Rytr differentiates through a tone-mirroring feature that analyzes samples of a user's writing and replicates their style across generated content. The platform supports more than 30 languages and includes templates for AIDA copywriting, product descriptions, SEO meta descriptions, real estate listings, and interview questions. As of 2024, Rytr reports serving more than 8 million users globally.

In October 2022, Rytr was acquired by Copysmith, an AI copywriting platform focused on enterprise marketing teams. The acquisition formed Copyrytr, a collective of AI writing tools also including Frase. Rytr continues to operate under its own brand, with a team of fewer than 10 employees and subscription plans starting at $7.50 per month.
