Telnyx is a cloud communications platform founded in 2009 in Chicago by David Casem and Ian Reither. The company operates its own global telecommunications backbone and provides Voice, Messaging, SIP Trunking, Fax, and AI voice APIs along with programmable private networking.

Telnyx serves more than 2,000 enterprise customers and developers in 222 countries and territories, competing with Twilio, Bandwidth, and Vonage.

The company is largely bootstrapped and privately held. David Casem serves as CEO.
