AI21 Labs is an enterprise AI company founded in 2017 by Amnon Shashua, Yoav Shoham, and Ori Goshen in Tel Aviv, Israel. The company develops foundation models and AI systems for production enterprise environments, with co-CEOs Ori Goshen and Prof. Yoav Shoham — a Stanford professor emeritus and former Google Principal Scientist — leading the organization.

The company's flagship products include the Jamba family of large language models, optimized for long-context processing, and Maestro, an agentic orchestration framework targeting reliability and cost efficiency in multi-agent pipelines and retrieval-augmented generation workflows.
