Humanitec

Humanitec is a platform orchestration company founded in 2014 in Berlin by Kaspar von Grünberg. The product helps platform engineering teams build internal developer platforms by providing a Platform Orchestrator that standardizes deployments across Kubernetes, Terraform, and other infrastructure.

Humanitec is the company behind Score, an open specification for workload definition. Customers include large enterprises adopting platform engineering practices.

Humanitec has raised an undisclosed amount through its seed funding and remains privately held. Kaspar von Grünberg serves as CEO and coined the term Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
