JetBrains is a software development tools company founded in 2000 by Sergei Dmitriev, Valentin Kipyatkov, and Eugene Belyaev in Prague, Czech Republic, where it remains headquartered. The company builds IDEs and productivity tools used primarily by software developers across a wide range of programming languages and platforms.

JetBrains' product portfolio includes IntelliJ IDEA for Java and JVM languages, PyCharm for Python, WebStorm for JavaScript, GoLand for Go, CLion for C and C++, Rider for .NET, and DataGrip for databases, among others. The company also created the Kotlin programming language, which Google adopted as a first-class language for Android development in 2017. JetBrains sells products to individual developers and enterprises, and offers a subscription-based licensing model called All Products Pack.

JetBrains has remained privately held and bootstrapped since its founding, generating revenue through software licensing without external venture funding. The company employs roughly 1,500 to 2,000 people across offices in Prague, Amsterdam, Boston, and other locations. In 2021, JetBrains and the Kotlin Foundation have continued to expand Kotlin's ecosystem. The company launched JetBrains AI and AI Assistant features integrated into its IDEs starting in 2023.
