Optimizely is a digital experience platform founded in 2010 in San Francisco by Dan Siroker and Pete Koomen. The DXP combines web experimentation, CMS, commerce, personalization, and marketing orchestration (following acquisitions of Episerver/Welcome).

Optimizely serves more than 9,000 brands including Microsoft, Yamaha, and Sky. The company emphasizes AI-driven experimentation and content.

Insight Partners acquired Episerver/Optimizely in 2020 and now owns the combined company. Alex Atzberger serves as CEO. Headquarters moved to New York City.
