Roboflow

Roboflow is a computer vision platform founded in 2019 in Des Moines, Iowa by Joseph Nelson and Brad Dwyer. The tool helps developers and enterprises annotate images, train custom vision models, and deploy them to the edge or cloud.

Roboflow is used by more than 500,000 developers and enterprises including Rivian, Walmart, and Cardinal Health. The platform hosts Roboflow Universe, a marketplace of open computer vision datasets and pretrained models.

The company has raised approximately $62 million, including a $40 million Series B led by Craft Ventures in 2023, with participation from Y Combinator, Lachy Groom, Segment founders, and GitHub co-founder Tom Preston-Werner.
