Blue Prism is a robotic process automation pioneer founded in 2001 in the UK by Alastair Bathgate and David Moss. The platform enables enterprises to automate back-office processes with software robots across finance, operations, and IT.

Blue Prism serves more than 2,000 enterprise customers including global banks, insurers, and government agencies, with a focus on governed, scalable RPA deployments. The company launched an agentic AI offering to extend its automation capabilities.

Blue Prism was acquired by SS&C Technologies (NASDAQ: SSNC) in March 2022 for approximately $1.6 billion. It now operates as SS&C Blue Prism within SS&C's broader intelligent automation portfolio.
