Themis Solutions Inc., operating as Clio, develops cloud-based practice management software for law firms. Founded in 2008 by Jack Newton and Rian Gauvreau, the company is headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia, and debuted its platform at the ABA TECHSHOW in March 2008 as one of the first fully cloud-based legal practice management systems.

Clio's product line covers the operational side of a law practice: Clio Manage handles matters, time tracking, billing, and trust accounting; Clio Grow, built from the 2018 Lexicata acquisition, handles client intake and CRM; Clio Draft provides document automation; and Clio Duo adds AI assistance. The company reports more than 400,000 legal professionals using its software across over 130 countries, with approvals from more than 100 bar associations and law societies.

Clio has raised more than $1.7 billion in total funding, including a $250 million Series D in 2019, a $900 million Series F in July 2024 at a $3 billion valuation, and a $500 million Series G in November 2025 led by New Enterprise Associates that valued the company at $5 billion, alongside a $350 million debt facility led by Blackstone and Blue Owl Capital. In November 2025 the company completed its $1 billion acquisition of legal research and AI company vLex, adding the Vincent AI platform. Clio employs more than 1,000 people.
