The company reports more than 400,000 legal professionals using its software across over 130 countries, with approvals from more than 100 bar associations and law societies.
Clio has raised more than $1.7 billion in total funding, including a $250 million Series D in 2019, a $900 million Series F in July 2024 at a $3 billion valuation, and a $500 million Series G in November 2025 led by New Enterprise Associates that valued the company at $5 billion, alongside a $350 million debt facility led by Blackstone and Blue Owl Capital. In November 2025 the company completed its $1 billion acquisition of legal research and AI company vLex, adding the Vincent AI platform. Clio employs more than 1,000 people.
