About Legora

Legora develops an AI-native workspace for legal professionals, automating document review, contract drafting, legal research, and client collaboration for law firms and in-house teams. Founded in Stockholm in 2023 as Leya by Max Junestrand, Sigge Labor, and August Erseus, the company passed through Y Combinator's Winter 2024 batch and rebranded to Legora in February 2025. Max Junestrand serves as chief executive.

The company's platform, marketed as an agentic operating system for legal work, combines large-scale document analysis through a tabular review tool, agentic legal research, regulatory monitoring, and add-ins for Microsoft Word and Outlook. Legora counts law firms including White & Case, Cleary Gottlieb, and Goodwin among its clients and operates across more than 15 countries, competing with rivals such as Harvey and Robin AI in the legal AI market.

Legora has raised roughly $866 million since its founding. After a $150 million Series C in October 2025, it raised a $600 million Series D across two closes in 2026: a $550 million first close in March led by Accel at a $5.55 billion valuation, followed by a $50 million extension in April led by Nvidia's NVentures with Atlassian and Insight Partners, lifting the valuation to about $5.6 billion. The company grew from roughly 40 employees to more than 500 across offices in Stockholm, London, New York, Denver, Sydney, and Bengaluru.
