Typecast is an AI voice generation platform developed by Neosapience, founded in 2017 in Seoul by former Qualcomm engineers and KAIST graduates Taesu Kim and Saebom Park. The product uses proprietary Smart Emotion technology to generate context-aware performances from scripts.

Typecast is used by more than 2 million registered users worldwide, including broadcasters, telecoms, e-commerce, and education companies creating voiceovers at scale.

Neosapience has raised approximately $29 million across multiple rounds, including an $11.5 million pre-IPO round led by Intervest, HB Investment, K2 Investment, and Bokwang Investment.
