Canva is an online design and visual communication platform founded in 2012 in Sydney by Melanie Perkins, Cliff Obrecht, and Cameron Adams. The browser-based product offers templates, stock assets, and AI tools (Magic Studio, Magic Write) for everyday design work.

Canva has more than 220 million monthly active users and is used by 95% of Fortune 500 companies for marketing and internal communications. The company acquired Affinity, Flourish, and most recently Leonardo.ai to bolster its generative AI stack.

Canva has raised approximately $572 million, most recently at a $32 billion valuation. Melanie Perkins serves as CEO and co-founder.
