Cloudflare is an internet infrastructure and security company founded in 2009 in San Francisco by Matthew Prince, Michelle Zatlyn, and Lee Holloway. The company operates one of the world's largest networks, providing CDN, DNS, DDoS protection, zero-trust security, edge compute (Cloudflare Workers), and AI inference.

Cloudflare serves more than 33 million internet properties and offers a Zero Trust suite competing with Zscaler and Palo Alto Networks. Its developer platform powers edge workloads for thousands of companies.

Cloudflare went public on NYSE in September 2019 (NET). Matthew Prince serves as CEO. The company generates over $1.5 billion in annual revenue.
