Drata is a security compliance automation platform founded in 2020 in San Diego by Adam Markowitz, Troy Markowitz, and Daniel Marashlian. The platform provides continuous control monitoring for SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and other frameworks with 180+ integrations.

Drata serves more than 7,000 customers, competing with Vanta and Secureframe. It has expanded into trust centers, AI risk, and vendor risk management.

The company has raised approximately $328 million, including a $100 million Series C in 2024 at a $2 billion valuation, led by ICONIQ Growth.
