Higgsfield AI operates a generative AI platform for producing videos and images from text prompts and reference material, aimed at creators, social media marketers, and advertising teams. The company was founded in 2023 by CEO Alex Mashrabov, previously head of generative AI at Snap after selling his startup AI Factory to Snap for $166 million in 2020, together with CTO Yerzat Dulat and CSO Mahi de Silva. It is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

The platform combines proprietary models, including the Soul image models, Higgsfield DOP video generation, and the Cinema Studio production workspace with camera and color controls, with access to more than 30 third-party models such as OpenAI's Sora 2, Kling, and Google's Veo 3.1. Additional products include the Diffuse mobile app, Higgsfield Ads for commercial creative, and team and enterprise plans. The company reports over 25 million users and roughly 2 million videos generated per day, with professional social media marketers a core customer segment.

Higgsfield raised an $8 million seed round led by Menlo Ventures in April 2024, a $50 million Series A led by GFT Ventures in September 2025 at a $1 billion valuation, and an $80 million Series A extension led by Accel in January 2026 at a $1.3 billion valuation, bringing total funding to about $138 million; other backers include AI Capital Partners and BroadLight Capital. Alongside the extension, the company reported a $200 million annual revenue run rate, and in June 2026 The Information reported it was in talks to raise $300-500 million at a $5 billion pre-money valuation. Higgsfield employs between 51 and 200 people.
