Honeycomb.io is an observability company founded in 2016 by Christine Yen and Charity Majors, both former Parse and Facebook engineers. The platform ingests wide structured events from production systems and lets teams query them with BubbleUp, a heatmap-driven differential analysis tool designed for unknown-unknown debugging.

The product is used by engineering teams at Slack, Vanguard, Intercom, and other software companies to diagnose performance regressions and incident root causes in distributed systems. Honeycomb publishes observability research and a refining-engineering-practice book ("Observability Engineering," O'Reilly).

The company is headquartered in San Francisco and has raised approximately $96M across multiple rounds, with a Series D led by Insight Partners in 2022.
