Sentry is an application monitoring and error tracking platform founded in 2011 in San Francisco by David Cramer and Chris Jennings. The open-source-based platform provides error tracking, performance monitoring, session replay, and profiling for web and mobile applications.

Sentry serves more than 100,000 organizations, including Disney, Microsoft, and Peloton. The company is a leader in developer-first observability, competing with Datadog and New Relic.

The company has raised approximately $217 million, including a $90 million round in 2022 at a $3 billion valuation, led by BOND. David Cramer serves as CEO.
