Klippa

Klippa is an intelligent document processing and expense management company founded in 2015 in Groningen, Netherlands by Yeelen Knegtering, Jeroen Bobbeldijk, Robert-Jan Verheggen, and Klaas Jelmer Boskma. The product uses OCR and machine learning to digitize receipts, invoices, contracts, and identity documents.

Klippa serves thousands of customers across accounting, travel, retail, and insurance, offering both SaaS products (Expense Management, DocHorizon) and APIs.

SER Group, a German ECM provider, acquired Klippa in March 2025. Prior to acquisition, Klippa raised approximately €1.2M in seed funding from NOM.
