NightCafe Studio is an AI art generation platform and community founded in 2019 in Cairns, Australia by Angus Russell, a former Atlassian software engineer. The product started with a neural style transfer tool and expanded into text-to-image with community challenges and competitions.

NightCafe has more than 35 million AI-generated artworks and a large community of creators. The platform provides access to multiple models including Stable Diffusion and Flux.

NightCafe is bootstrapped. Angus Russell serves as CEO; his wife Elle Russell is Chief Operating Officer.
