Atlassian is a collaboration software company founded in 2002 in Sydney by Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar. The product portfolio includes Jira for software development, Confluence for knowledge, Trello for project management, Bitbucket for Git, and Loom for async video.

Atlassian serves more than 300,000 customers globally including 82% of the Fortune 500. The company acquired Loom in 2023 for approximately $975 million and has been investing heavily in Atlassian Intelligence and Rovo AI agents.

Atlassian went public on NASDAQ in December 2015 (TEAM). Co-founders Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar served as co-CEOs until Scott stepped down in 2024; Mike is now sole CEO.
