Humaans is a human resources information system founded in 2020 and headquartered in London, UK, with additional offices in New York and San Francisco. The company was co-founded by Giovanni Luperti and is built for People Operations, Finance, and IT teams at globally distributed organizations.

The platform manages the full employment lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, compensation, performance reviews, absence tracking, and headcount planning. An integrated AI companion automates administrative tasks, surfaces workforce insights, and generates HR documentation without manual report building. Humaans supports operations across more than 28 countries, holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certifications, and integrates with third-party tools via an open API.

Humaans raised a $5 million seed round in 2021 backed by Y Combinator, followed by a $15 million Series A in 2022, bringing total funding to $20 million. Notable investors include founders of Shopify and Slack, along with executives from LinkedIn, Figma, Stripe, and Intercom. The company employs approximately 55 people.
