Leapsome

Leapsome was co-founded in 2016 by Kajetan von Armansperg and Jenny von Podewils, both of whom serve as Co-CEOs. The company is headquartered in New York, with an additional office in Berlin, Germany.

The platform covers the full HR employee lifecycle, offering HRIS, performance reviews, OKR and goal tracking, continuous feedback, employee engagement surveys, learning and development, compensation management, onboarding, and absence management. As of 2024, Leapsome serves more than 2,000 organizations, including Notion. Its design integrates HRIS functionality directly with performance and engagement tools within a single system rather than requiring separate product integrations.

Leapsome bootstrapped its operations for six years before raising a $60 million Series A round led by Insight Partners in April 2022, with additional backing from Creandum and Visionaries Club. The company employs approximately 150 people across its New York and Berlin offices.
