Moveworks, Inc. develops an AI assistant platform that lets employees resolve IT, HR, finance, and other workplace requests in natural language across systems such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow, and SharePoint. The company was founded in 2016 by Bhavin Shah, Vaibhav Nivargi, Varun Singh, and Jiang Chen, is headquartered in Mountain View, California, and emerged from stealth in April 2019.

The platform combines an AI assistant, enterprise search, and an agentic reasoning engine that plans and executes multi-step tasks across business applications. Customers have included Toyota, Instacart, CVS Health, Marriott, HP, GitHub, Hearst, Databricks, Broadcom, Autodesk, and Micron, with deployments reaching millions of employees worldwide.

Moveworks raised $315 million in venture funding: a $30 million Series A in April 2019, a $75 million Series B in November 2019, and a $200 million Series C in June 2021 led by Tiger Global and Alkeon Capital at a $2.1 billion valuation, with backers including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Bain Capital, Sapphire Ventures, ICONIQ Growth, and Kleiner Perkins. In March 2025, ServiceNow agreed to acquire the company for approximately $2.85 billion in cash and stock; the deal closed on December 15, 2025, and Moveworks now operates as part of ServiceNow, bringing hundreds of AI engineers to the acquirer.
