Automatic Data Processing (ADP) is a human capital management company founded in 1949 in Paterson, New Jersey by Henry Taub. ADP provides payroll, HR, benefits, talent, retirement, and compliance services to more than a million clients globally.

ADP processes payroll for approximately one out of six U.S. workers. The company has invested heavily in AI-powered analytics, workforce intelligence (ADP Lyric), and compliance automation.

ADP is listed on NASDAQ (ADP). Maria Black has served as CEO since January 2023. ADP reports over $19 billion in annual revenue.
