Bland AI is a voice AI company that builds, deploys, and monitors AI phone agents capable of handling inbound and outbound calls at scale. Founded in 2023 by Isaiah Granet and Sobhan Nejad and headquartered in San Francisco, the company emerged from Y Combinator's Summer 2023 batch and targets regulated, high-stakes industries such as healthcare, insurance, and financial services.

The platform runs on Bland's own infrastructure and includes Norm, a builder for creating production agents, along with tools for testing, observability, and omnichannel deployment across voice, SMS, and web chat in more than 40 languages. It integrates with systems including Twilio, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Genesys, and holds SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and GDPR certifications. Customers include Samsara, Kin Insurance, Mutual of Omaha, and CNO Financial Group; the company processes roughly 3.5 million calls per week and reports more than 250 enterprise customers.

Bland has raised over $100 million across three priced rounds. A $16 million Series A closed in August 2024, followed by a $40 million Series B led by Emergence Capital in January 2025 and a $50 million Series C led by Dell Technologies Capital in June 2026. Other backers include Scale Venture Partners, HubSpot Ventures, and Y Combinator, along with angel investors such as Twilio co-founder Jeff Lawson. Isaiah Granet serves as chief executive officer, and the company employed roughly 112 people as of early 2026.
