Recraft is a generative AI design company founded in 2022 in London by Anna Veronika Dorogush, the creator of the popular CatBoost machine learning framework. The product offers a text-to-image and vector graphics generator tuned for professional designers and marketing teams.

Recraft has more than 4 million users and briefly topped industry benchmarks, outperforming DALL-E 3 and Midjourney on the Artificial Analysis image leaderboard in 2024.

The company has raised approximately $42 million, including a $30 million Series B in 2025 led by Accel with participation from Madrona Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Nat Friedman, and Elad Gil.
