AWS generated approximately $107 billion in revenue in 2024, representing roughly 17% of Amazon's total net sales. Matt Garman became CEO of AWS in June 2024, succeeding Adam Selipsky. AWS employs tens of thousands of people globally across its infrastructure and services divisions.
