Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), is the world's largest cloud computing provider, launched in 2006 under Andy Jassy. AWS offers more than 200 services spanning compute, storage, databases, AI, and developer tools.

Amazon Bedrock is AWS's managed service for building generative AI applications, providing unified API access to foundation models from Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, Cohere, AI21 Labs, Stability AI, and Amazon's own Nova models. Bedrock includes agents, knowledge bases, guardrails, and evaluation tools.

AWS generates more than $100 billion in annual revenue. Matt Garman has served as AWS CEO since June 2024, following Adam Selipsky.
