Taiga

Taiga is an open-source project management platform first released in 2014 by Kaleidos, a Madrid-based software company. The tool supports Scrum and Kanban methodologies and is popular with agile development teams and designers.

Taiga offers a free self-hosted version and a paid hosted SaaS. It competes with Jira, Asana, and Trello, particularly among teams that want an open-source alternative.

Taiga is developed and maintained by Kaleidos, which has been self-funded throughout its history. Co-founder Pablo Ruiz-Múzquiz has served as CEO.
