Quantum Workplace

Quantum Workplace was founded in 2002 by Greg Harris and is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The company develops HR software covering employee engagement, performance management, talent development, and recognition for mid-to-large enterprise customers.

The platform includes engagement surveys, performance reviews, 1-on-1 meeting tools, goal tracking, succession planning, and employee recognition and rewards. Quantum Workplace also operates the Best Places to Work program, conducting engagement surveys across 48 regional and industry contests that capture feedback from more than 440,000 employees annually at nearly 10,000 organizations.

In January 2022, the company secured growth equity from LLR Partners, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm with more than $5 billion raised across six funds. In January 2026, Quantum Workplace acquired Assembly, an employee recognition platform serving more than 500 organizations. Co-founder Greg Harris transitioned to a board member role in May 2025, with Joe Holland succeeding him as CEO; Holland previously led Teachers Pay Teachers prior to its sale to IXL Learning.
